Ken Blege Invites Christians to Intimate 'Ken & Friends' Worship Gathering at Alisa Hotel

Accra, Ghana – Gospel minister Ken Blege has invited Christians and lovers of gospel music to join him for an intimate evening of worship, thanksgiving and fellowship at the Ken & Friends gathering, describing the event as a family gathering rather than a concert.

Speaking on Sunny FM's Inspirational Morning Drive, Ken Blege shared that months of prayer, preparation and rehearsals have gone into the event, with his team working tirelessly behind the scenes to create an atmosphere where attendees can experience God's presence.

Despite a demanding schedule, the gospel musician said he remains confident because of the dedication of his team and, above all, the leading of the Holy Spirit.

"Sometimes you wish you had more time, but the Holy Spirit prepares you. We are more than ready," he said.

Trusting God for the Impossible

Reflecting on the journey of organizing the event, Blege revealed that there were moments when the financial resources appeared insufficient. However, he said God has consistently provided every step of the way.

According to him, believers should not wait until they feel fully equipped before responding to God's call.

Instead, they should make themselves available and trust God to provide what is needed.

Drawing inspiration from Jesus feeding the five thousand, Blege said God is able to multiply whatever little is placed in His hands.

A Theme of Hope: "He Found Me"

The award-winning worship leader also hinted at songs from his upcoming album, revealing that one of the central themes is "He Found Me."

He explained that the message celebrates God's unfailing grace, reminding believers that God never abandons His children, even in their lowest moments.

"When people think it's over, God still finds a way," Blege said, adding that the new project reflects God's faithfulness in every season of life.

More Than Music

Joining the discussion, gospel artiste Jojo Sam, who will also minister at the event, described the gathering as an opportunity for people to encounter God.

He said he has been praying and preparing alongside his team and believes attendees will experience genuine spiritual renewal.

The host of the programme encouraged listeners to invite family and friends, describing the evening as the perfect way to end the month in worship and thanksgiving.

An Intimate Family Gathering

Ken Blege stressed that attendees should not expect a typical gospel concert.

Instead, he said the atmosphere has been intentionally designed to encourage worship, fellowship and a deeper encounter with God.

"This is not a concert. It's a family gathering — an intimate family gathering where we share in the experience of God's love," he emphasized.

The Ken & Friends gathering takes place at the Ridge Arena, Alisa Hotel, beginning at 7:00 p.m., with Sunny FM encouraging listeners to reserve their seats and join what promises to be an unforgettable evening of worship and thanksgiving.
