Held under the theme "The River," this year's event attracted believers from every walk of life who came with one purpose—to lift high the name of Jesus Christ through passionate praise, worship and prayer.
From the opening session, the atmosphere was charged with expectation as worshippers sang, prayed and celebrated God's faithfulness. Throughout the evening, Joe Mettle led thousands into deep moments of worship, ministering some of his best-loved songs while creating space for spontaneous expressions of thanksgiving and surrender to God.
One of the defining moments of the night came when rain began to fall over the Accra Sports Stadium. Rather than seeking shelter or leaving the venue, thousands of worshippers remained in place, lifting their hands and voices to God. The rain seemed only to intensify the atmosphere of worship as believers continued singing, praying and praising God with remarkable joy and unwavering devotion.
For many in attendance, it became a powerful reminder that true worship is not dependent on favourable circumstances but flows from hearts wholly devoted to Christ. The unforgettable scene of thousands worshipping under the rain will undoubtedly remain one of the lasting memories of Praise Reloaded 2026.
The event also featured outstanding ministrations from some of Africa's most respected gospel artistes. Legendary Ghanaian gospel group Daughters of Glorious Jesus captivated the audience with timeless songs that inspired heartfelt praise and thanksgiving.
Nigerian worship minister Prosper Ochimana ushered the congregation into a profound atmosphere of worship, ministering songs that stirred deep reflection and total surrender to God. His powerful vocals and heartfelt delivery resonated throughout the stadium.
Ghana's own Eugene Zuta also delivered an energetic and spirit-filled performance, leading worshippers into vibrant praise while encouraging believers to celebrate the goodness of God.
One of the evening's standout moments came when Nigerian gospel sensation Sunmisola Agbebi took to the stage. Her soulful worship and powerful ministry created an atmosphere of reverence that saw thousands singing in one voice as many lifted prayers of thanksgiving and rededication to God.
Throughout the night, the message remained clear: Jesus Christ is worthy of all praise, and His presence continues to transform lives. The unity displayed by thousands of believers worshipping together reflected the vision behind Praise Reloaded—to bring people together in one accord to exalt the King of Kings.
The programme was supported by several corporate partners, including Sunny 88.7 FM, whose extensive promotion helped spread the message of the event across Ghana. During an earlier interview on Sunny FM, Joe Mettle expressed appreciation to Sunny FM, Sunny Gold Brown Sugar and Ecobank for supporting the vision, while encouraging Christians to gather and worship, declaring that "when we lift Him up, He will draw all men unto Himself."
As the final songs echoed through the Accra Sports Stadium, many worshippers departed with hearts full of gratitude, encouraged by an evening marked by God's presence, powerful music and genuine expressions of faith.
Praise Reloaded 2026 once again demonstrated why it remains one of Ghana's premier Christian worship gatherings. More than a concert, it was a divine encounter that united thousands in one voice, one spirit and one purpose—to glorify the name of Jesus Christ.
